Procedural Rain is the third (and, so far, the longest) album I’ve released. The whole idea for this album came from a single track I made in December 2022, heavily inspired by Pilotredsun, Aphex Twin, Bittertooth and other IDM producers I was listening to at the time. This track, now called Saoirse (Sheep Counting Sheep), then inspired me to make another one, then another, until one day I realized this idea could be adapted into a full length album. In it, I tried to musically represent what rain might sound, look, smell and even taste like to someone who has never witnessed it before. It starts out very slowly, getting more intense as the light rain turns into a storm, and then slows down again as the sun appears from behind the clouds. There’s also lots of sheep involved, for some reason! 🐑🌹
